Radio Appearance - March 20, 2008

William Reedy returned to college radio, appearing on the Razor and Die show on WLUW Chicago, 88.7 FM for an interview and a live performance. Also appearing were John Reedy and Terry Davis. The live performance included "Something Out of Nothing," "Stop and Smell the Roses," "I Am a Pilgrim," and "Out of the Woods." One caller phoned in from Mexico in response to the free CD giveaway.

Live at the Montrose - February 4, 2008

William Reedy appeared in the Singer Songwriter Spotlight series at the Montrose Saloon. Also appearing were Bob Huston on bass and John Reedy on guitar. William, Bob and John sang and played:

LilFest Weekend - September 16, 2007

William Reedy appeared in the LilFest house concert series in Wilmette, Illinois. In an energetic set he played, "Pocket Full of Money," "Secret Song," "When the War is Over," and a smoking "Stop and Smell the Roses."

Return to the Heartland - September 6, 2007

William Reedy and Friends returned to the Heartland Cafe in Chicago as featured artists in the "Rick Veras Presents" series. Terry Davis made her first appearance with the group in a standout performance on banjo and vocals. Linda Collins added her trademark vocals to "Secret Song" and "When the War is Over," and delighted the crowd with her version of "Ode to Billy Joe." Marty brought the house down on "Ragtime Annie" and WR told some of the worst jokes in the history of folk music. A great time was had by all.

K.I.D.S. Zone Festival - July 14, 2007

William Reedy arrived at the site of the K.I.D.S. Zone Festival and was informed that the sound system promised to them by the Mayor's Office of Special Events had not been delivered and that the entertainment was being cancelled. WR then sat down with an acoustic guitar in the senior citizens' tent and played for over an hour, joined briefly by Rico, the Michael Jackson impersonator.

Bill at Bill's - May 13, 2007

William Reedy appeared in the LilFest select series at Bill's Blues in Evanston Illinois. Also appearing was Bruce "the Lonesome Rambler" Foster. WR joined Bruce onstage for a rendition of "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald." Bruce took the stage with WR to play and sing on "Country Road."

A Feast of Music - May 6, 2007

William Reedy and Friends appeared at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Chicago to entertain an audience of homeless people at a dinner hosted by church members. Participants were treated to a gourmet meal and a rousing set of Americana drenched folk music.

Heartland Show - March 29, 2007

K.I.D.S Zone Festival - June 14, 2006

Just announced...William Reedy will return to the K.I.D.S Zone festival on July 8, 2006. This admission free festival is held annually on the second Saturday in July and is sponsored by the Southside Community Outreach Coalition. The festival is held in the 6700-6900 block of South Halsted in Chicago Illinois. Details, including performance time, will be posted on this site in the near future.

Redline Show - March 5, 2006

Thanks to everyone who came out in the snow on Oscar night to the Songwriter Showcase at the Redline. Kathryn Gauthier opened the show with a set devoted to love songs. She announced her engagement to Greg Mejias onstage; their wedding is set for April 1, 2006. Congratulations and good luck to them both! WR joined Kathryn onstage for renditions of "Long Long Fields," "Easy and Slow," "It's All Right," and "An Angel to Lay By Your Side" before closing Kathryn's set with a vocal duet on the Garcia / Hunter song, "Ripple." Conclusion of Hurricane Relief CD Sales Campaign - October 24, 2005

The CDBaby sales campaign in support of hurricane relief has concluded as of today after raising a total of over $165,000 for the American Red Cross. Hats off to CDBaby and thanks again to everyone who participated by purchasing a CD in support of this effort.

Glenwood Arts Fest - October 1, 2005

The Glenwood Arts Festival was the scene of a very special performance by William Reedy on the Lifeline Theater Children's Stage. A presentation consisting largely of traditional American folk music was well received by festival goers on this beautiful Saturday afternoon. Here is a set list:
